Copy files to/from PC

There are four main ways in which you can copy files between the Zaurus and a PC (whether Mac, Linux or Windows). These are:

  • Using the Zaurus as a mass storage device.

  • Using a USB mass storage device and a Zhost USB cable.

  • Using a CF or SD card and a suitable reader for your PC.

  • Connecting to the Zaurus as a Network file server (Samba) over USB or Wireless.

See “Connecting to a PC via a USB cable” for connecting over USB or “Connecting to your Zaurus over a LAN”.

Synchronising with Microsoft Outlook

Whilst the installation is a little involved it is possible to synchronise the Zaurus' PIM applications with Microsoft Outlook. See “Installing Intellisync” for installation instructions.
