Connect the Zhost cable to the Zaurus and plug the USB mass storage device in to it. In the Files tab of the Home page you should see Storage/dev/sda1 appear alongside Internal Disk – this is the mass storage device. (See Chapter 8, Accessories if you haven't got a Zhost cable.)

Should this fail for any reason, you can use the Terminal application to mount the device manually as superuser. Type in the following commands:

[root zaurus]# mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/usbstorage -o umask=000
