It can be useful to use your PC's terminal application to access the Zaurus. You can do this using the ssh command.

First you need to determine your IP address – see “Determining the Zaurus' IP address” if you don't know how to do this.

Once you have the IP address, go to a terminal window on your PC and type ssh zaurus@192.168.129.201, replacing 192.168.129.201 with your IP address. You will be prompted for a password, which is zaurus42.

If you need to login as root (ssh root@192.168.129.201) then the password is figlabs.
