There are a number of eBook readers for the Zaurus, our favourite is Opie Reader, which can be downloaded from here. The best format to reader eBooks in with Opie Reader is Plucker, there are a significant number of books and documents available in Plucker format and even an application that enables you to download a portion of a website and convert it into Plucker format.
