Surprisingly, the best place to create a memo is in the Text Editor application:
Select Text Editor from the Applications tab of the Home page.
Make sure the Notes tab is displayed (you can use the arrow keys to move between tabs).
Press the Menu button on the keyboard or tap on on the screen and select .
Enter your note and press OK to save it.
If you want to copy your memos to somewhere else, such as your PC, you can convert them to text files, select the menu option -> to do this.
