We know you'll be itching to start playing with your new toy - sorry, device, so we'll be brief. If you do nothing else with this User Guide, we suggest you at least do the following:

Check the package contents (see “What's in the box?”) and read “Care of your Zaurus”, particularly the paragraph entitled Screen hinge.

Make sure you insert the battery correctly (see “Inserting and charging the battery ” and charge it up fully before first use.

Then switch on and you're ready to go.
