If you've managed to connect your Zaurus to your network then you can access the Zaurus' filing system from a Windows, Mac or Linux computer using the Samba file server. If you've connected your Zaurus with the USB cable then you should be up and running automatically. See “Using a TCP/IP-based connection”.

If you're using a wireless connection then for security reasons Samba is not automatically enabled for wireless connectivity.

You can turn it on manually by tapping on the Wifi Sharing On icon in the Settings tab of the Home page. Once on, you should be able to connect to the Zaurus in the same way as you do over a USB connection.

For security reasons once again, you should turn this off when you've finished using it. This can be done by selecting the Wifi Sharing Off applet .
